It was midnight of August 15th 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru gave his memorable spech to declare India an Independent Nation.

India achieved Indepndence from the opression of the British Colonial Rule after almost 200 years.

It was the Day Of Celeberation for Indians throughout the Country, Everywhere one could hear only one word 'Swantantra Bharat' (Free India) and "Hum Aazad Hain' (We Are Free).

Our forfathers laid their live for attaining this freedom, they survived poverty, hunger, torture, even death, so that we could be born free. Only they knew the true meaning and the real taste of freedom.

We, who were born in Independent India can hardly ever feel the cost and pain of acheiving freedom.

We have not paid anything to be born free- so we care less.

We see our valuable resources being misused, our national properties being destroyed, but we care less-because we are free.

Freedom has a cost, it comes with great responsibility, toward our Fellow Citizens, our brothers and sisters, and specially to OUR GREAT NATION.

Let us make INDIA, the GREAT NATION IT DESERVES TO BE.

LET US NOT FORGET the teachings of Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, the VISION OF Jawaharlal Nehru, the SACRIFICES of our Martyrs, our GREAT LEADERS LIKE - Lokmanya Tilak, Sardar Patel, Maulana Azad to name a few, without whose guidance we would not have attained our freedom. Our dream of having an Independent India could never have been possible.

We are ready to reach the Stars- in Peace of course. Not to start a star war. We are are "Peace Loving Nation"

Let’s pray for our Nation, our prosperity, our success, our strength, our peace.
O, God, Thank You for giving us Birth in Independent India, Lord give us the strength to defend our Country from it Enemies, even at the cost of our lives, for life is a little Price to Pay for Our INDEPENDENCE.
